Meeting Room D

Meeting Room D is now available. It features a conference set up (we're making do with these chairs for now), a dry erase cabinet, a sink and a 60 inch TV that can be used as the ones in Meeting Rooms A and B. It can be booked through the Events calendar and will be made accessible to the public as well.

United Health Care Rep To Be On Site

A representative from UHC will be available to meet with City of Appleton employees and/or their spouses. We are holding these meetings on the third Thursday of each month and will alternate locations between City Hall and MSB. The next meeting is June 17 from 12:30 - 2:30 at City Hall in the HR conference room. Feel free to stop in to discuss any questions, claims or concerns you have with Drew from UHC during these open meeting times.

Next month will be July 15, 12:30 - 2:30 at MSB.

New City of Appleton Website

The City of Appleton has launched a completely redesigned City Website - http://www.appleton.org/.

UNITED HEALTH CARE RX TIER CHANGES EFFECTIVE 7-1-10

The Pharmaceutical team at UHC has made their mid year changes to the prescription tiers.

Drugs going down a tier level are: divalproex sodum ER, Somatuline Depot, Nutropin AQ NuSpin, acarbose, clindamycin, ketorolac tromethamine, nateglinide and Opana ER.

Drugs going UP a tier level are: Aciphex, Dipentum, Protonix, Tazorac cream and gel, Vytorin and Zegerid.

For more detailed information, please read the attached document. If your drug is going up a tier, you will need to discuss alternatives with your physician in order to find a drug at a lower tier copay cost to you and get a new prescription.
