New Emergency Exit Diagrams

APL Kitchenette Remodeling

The kitchenette near meeting room C is being remodeled into a conference room (along with part of the Tech Services processing room). The things that had been stored in the kitchenette had to be removed to facilitate the construction. Everything that had been in the kitchenette cupboards and on carts stored there now reside on shelves next to the refrigerator in the Bowling Alley (basement storage area). Also, due to Appleton Fire Department regulations, the lock on the door leading to the Bowling Alley needed to be changed to allow egress without a key from within the Bowling Alley. To that end, the key that formerly opened that door will no longer work. If you need a key to enter that area please let me know. In the meantime, you can always get in by calling Maintenance, Tony or by walking through Admin.

2010 planning

Thanks to all the work done by staff participating in our planning process, we have some results to share from our planning retreat. You can read the documents at:

I appreciate the thoughtful input from staff and Board. We'll plan to start the work of our planning committees soon to begin writing the next version of our strategic plan -- the feedback and ideas we got from our planning day will be critical as we plan our path forward.
