Toprol XL Shortage

Due to some manufacturing issues, pharmacies are experiencing a severe shortage of the generic form of Toprol XL 25/50/100 and 200mg. This is a common medication used to treat high blood pressure and congestive heart failure. As a result of the shortage, employees trying to fill prescriptions for the generic form may be informed that the pharmacy does not have the generic in stock. If you should experience a shortage at the pharmacy, you have some choices.
