Road Closure

The roadway that runs between the City Center and the City Center parking ramp will be closed to vehicle traffic on Wednesday, August 25th and Thursday, August 26th from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Any questions please contact Carl Schultz at 5581.

UNITED HEALTH CARE ONE-ON-ONE MEETINGS

The next monthly meeting that Drew Habermann from United Health Care will be here is on Thursday, August 19 from 12:30 - 2:30 at City Hall in Committee Room D. These monthly meetings are for employees and/or your spouses to meet with our medical insurance representative regarding any issues/questions you may have regarding your UHC policy.

Lunchtime! at Washington Square

Appleton Downtown Inc., Valley Transit and Heid Music are excited to announce free, outdoor concerts every Friday in August from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. The concerts will be held at Washington Square near Valley Transit Center and the Appleton Public Library. Lunchtime Live! will feature a well known local acoustic band, Sly Joe & The Smooth Operators, playing a variety of cover music. Get away from your office for a bit and enjoy lunch and live music. You can bring your own brown bag lunch, get take-out from any of the great local restaurants or purchase on-site from Looy’s Dogs.
