National Wear Red Day

February 5th is National Wear Red Day. This day is a wake-up call to all American women that, "Heart disease doesn't care what you wear - it's the #1 killer of women®." Show your support for women's heart health by asking employees to wear their favorite red dress, shirt or tie. The 2010 required training classes have now been scheduled (see 2010 Training Calendar).

You can now register online for the 2010 Required Training! Please note: if you are in one of the groups below, your training coordinator will register you for the class:

Library (all staff): supervisor will schedule staff
MSB (field employees): Erick Cardew
Parks & Recreation (all staff): Nancy Wilcox
Police (all staff): Lisa Schleinz
Valley Transit (all staff): Shoua Lee
Wastewater & Facilities (all staff): Kristy Veldman
Water (all staff): Linda Christianson
